Nic has lettered 3 years in baseball and 1 in soccer. He led his team his senior year in batting at .357. Nic was named to the Babe Ruth All-State Tourney Team for 2 years. He was a Big 8 Conference Scholar Athlete in 99-00 and received the National Student-Athlete Day Award. Nic was a member of National Honor Society, Academic Society, FCA, and V-Men.
