Eric Briggs a two year starter at third base, completed his junior year at Castle High School, who was ranked as high as 2nd in the large division in Indiana. Eric completed the regular season with 26 RBI's and a .376 batting average. He made only one error in 28 games at third base he demonstrated excellent range and a very strong accurate arm. His civic activities include Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life.

Black Sox Outlook: Possible a Division I third baseman. Expect a much improved bat, great defense at third, add help on a deep pitching staff.
