Dear Sirs,

      RIVER CITY BASEBALL would like to thank you for your past and hopefully future support of our programs.We are a 19 year-old not-for-profit organization that provides summer baseball tournaments for 15-18 yr old teams at local college and high school fields. We include teams from throughout the Midwest. We host Invitational baseball tournaments each year.  These tournaments help support the local college and high school basebal programs.

River City Baseball consists of unpaid volunteers who donate their time and resources to providing quality baseball opportunities to area teens. River City Baseball offers financial support to our local and area high school and college baseball programs thru user fees, program advertising, and donations. In 2011 we invested $6000 in these programs. We also donated $1200.00 to a local teen church group for help in staffing our tournament. Our tournaments also provide a big boost to the local economy. In 2011, the Evansville Clarion Inn alone documented 426 room nights@$70.00 per room for out-of town tournament teams and fans.

The tournaments listed are the largest annual 16u / 18u amateur baseball tournaments hosted in the Evansville area.  Over 1000 baseball players and their families will be in town next summer to compete in these select tournaments.  In past years, these tournaments have drawn teams from Canada,  Colorado,  Georgia,  Illinois,  Indiana,  Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan,  Missouri,  New York,  Ohio, and West Virginia. 
2011 entries  included teams from Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, and Tennessee.
